Have to tell you I've had the most beautiful and profound dream when I woke up this morning. I dreamt that one of my friends told me a story about a journey she just had made through the desert. After hours of walk she and her travelling companions suddenly saw fluffy fairy seeds floating in the air towards them. They later arrived to a thick and green oasis.
She showed me a photograph of the massive greeney, picturing thousands of trefolds from corner to corner. As the society entered the oasis, for some reason they all began to dig for treasures she told me. It's like they got possessed by the magic of this green oasis suddenly appearing. Some kind of priest, from an unknown religion, then passed by. He told them that the desert is an architectonical masterpiece of love. They all immediately stopped digging then, and started to just enjoying the greenery instead, knowing that there will be plenty and more than enough for everyone anyway. When she told me this she also showed me a photo of the desert and the greenery together - the same as the first one - it appeared that she had only cut it out of the desert picture like a collage.
To be honest, it feels quite harsh to look upon unmerciful deserts as some kind of blessed tests or something. But I don't think that's the message of the dream. It's about seeing the bigger picture. We ourselves and everything that happens around us are all together part of a bigger equation. All that digging could have killed the entire oasis. This knowing helps us raise above greed, fear and lack into trust, values, gratitude, happiness and prosperity.
